Tax Agency

The core of the Abbott Group lies in the Tax Agency services supplied to businesses large and small, across a wide geographical area from Wellington, the Bay of Plenty through to Northland. Primarily our work here involves general accounting services - end of year accounts preparation and tax return filing.

We are involved across many industries, from Construction to Pharmacies to Restaurants, as well as providing business services and personal tax advice to individuals and directors.

Business Development

For a number of our clients we go one step further than pure tax filing, business advice and general relationships. In these cases we work closely with them in their day to day operations, offering full support as required, GST management, billing and other accounts functions. By taking a closer involvement, total annual costs can be kept down and the business also benefits from knowing where it is at throughout the year. Restructuring

At Abbott Group we undertake business restructuring and forensic accounting roles for clients. This work includes formal and informal winding up of businesses, and as required liquidations. We also carry out evaluation of potential businesses and assist in sale and purchase situations.

The Abbott Group likes to support clients where possible and in some cases we take on joint venture relationships for particular products, services and ventures that we see as offering something special. Course Facilitating and Leading

Our contractor, Sue Abbott Limited, assists in facilitating Cognitive Behavioural and general training courses and related self development roles. The principal director, Sue, has a background in teaching and in mental health related activities and is available to assist businesses as required.
